Individual Therapy

 Individual therapy is helpful for a variety of reasons, such as increasing an individual's self-awareness, encouraging self-exploration, identifying boundaries, enhancing communication skills, and improving the use of healthy coping skills.

Couples Therapy

 Couples who are dating, engaged, married, living together for years, etc. are able to experience the benefits of couples therapy. Couples therapy can be used to resolve current problems, address issues with parenting, conflict, stress, etc. Together you apply skills learned in therapy to your day-to-day interactions.

Group Therapy

Group therapy can be an ideal choice for addressing your concerns and making positive changes in your life.  Group therapy sessions teach group members proven strategies for managing specific problems. Oftentimes, you may feel like you are the only one struggling — but you're not. It can be a relief to hear others discuss what they're going through and realize you're not alone. 


Next Steps

Your first step is to call 443.418.5098 and schedule your initial appointment.  You will be asked to provide some information about yourself over the telephone.  Please have your insurance card, email address, and availability information. 


You will receive an email with a link to the client portal to complete consent forms and intake documents about your history and reason for therapy.  After a review of your documents and approval for services from your insurance company, the intake session will be scheduled. 


The initial session will be an hour to provide you an opportunity to share your background and presenting concerns. During this time, you will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding what to expect during therapy.  At the end of the intake, we will discuss your goals and next steps.  


Therapy sessions can be once or twice a week from 45 to 60 minutes.  We can meet a minimum of 7 times or longer depending on your time constraints, clinical need, and goals created. During the second session, we will establish your goals and begin our work together.
